What we teach

The best theology the Church has ever produced.

We don’t water it down. These are the teachings that make a believer “firm in the Faith” (see 1 Timothy and Titus).

The Trinity

One Spirit, One Lord, One God

Look at the Seven Realities (Ephesians 4:4–6): the One Spirit, the One Lord, and the One God and Father are all on the list. That’s the Trinity.

We can teach you how the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit work together, with abundant examples from Scripture.

The Doctrine of Christ

Do you really know the Jesus of the Bible?

Who can tell you about the divine nature and the human nature of Jesus, and when He had each one? It’s the Doctrine of Christ, the most basic teaching in Christianity.

Get it wrong and you’ll be wrong about everything, and you won’t have a Savior. We’ll show you from Scripture.

The Holy Spirit

Who can explain the Holy Spirit?

We would love to. Under the New Covenant we only have to follow the Spirit, love, and keep a clear conscience. It’s that simple. We insist on baptism in the Spirit as well as in water.

The traditions

Who is teaching the traditions? We practice them.

Baptism in water and in the Spirit.

Communion, the Lord’s Supper: the cup of the new covenant in Jesus’ blood. We take it seriously and we take it together.

The Seven Realities (Ephesians 4:4–6)

One body · one Spirit · one hope · one Lord · one faith · one baptism · one God and Father of all. The 7Rs define Christian unity, and we defend it.

The Seven Fundamentals (Hebrews 6:1–2)

God’s Foundations, the “doctrine of the Apostles” (Acts 2:42). This is our statement of faith. We walk every new believer through them in the Fundamentals stage.

“So then, brethren, stand FIRM and hold to the traditions which you were taught, whether by word of mouth or by letter from us.”

2 Thessalonians 2:15 · NASB
